in atlanta today to attend a data privacy day event - happy hour tonight. it's official, i am now a nerd!
Apollo I spacecraft fire happened 53 years ago yesterday. Astronauts Grissom, White and Chaffee died. 34 years ago today the space shuttle Challenger exploded killing 7. Not a good time of year to be going into space.
- when i was a kid, i was fascinated by the exploits of NASA and their astronauts. then they just stopped doing stuff.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, one of my favorite books was published today in 1813. i may have to read again this weekend. or at least watch one of the movies!
